Unknown

When i took these pictures the only thought which struck me was that just like this magnificent feeling that i am having there is no single word to describe it other than what i already know...but something better is unknown to me just like the flower, the shrub the photos of which i took or the poet whose poetry i remembered...that poet is also unknown. The best things we receive...remain UNKNOWN...
Beauty of the Morning
In the beauty of the morning
When the sun awakes the world
When the birds begin their singing
And the clouds are all unfurled.
Have you ever stopped to listen
As the darkness fades away
When the golden dawn is breaking
and heralds in the day?
If you've never seen the glory
of the rising of the sun
Now's the time to do this
For at least, just even one.
Your heart will swell with praises
As you see the beauty there
You will find your spirit soaring
And your heart bowed down in prayer.

    1. Wow that was real prompt...prompter than I could have ever imagined. You see this is my procedure. I take pics...then take out the mc from the camera... Insert it into my computer... And then post the pics straight from there to my blog. Now that you have enlightened me with some facts I will try and work out with that. Let's hope you will come and review my next pic too which should be x large brighter and bigger. Thanks a ton for this. Grateful indeed .

    1. @ Haddock am really glad that it grabbed ur attention. You see I have taken many pictures of this unknown to me shrub and there was a purpose behind this particular picture...actually to show how two different colors of flowers were there like they are on the color wheel side by side...amazing isn't it...the buds happened to be there too. My purpose were those two colors. But I am glad u liked it...even if it was for the buds...
      Thank you. Keep visiting...my next post will enlighten...hopefully :) :) :)

  10. Couldn't drop by here for a long time and now I see that I have plenty of things to catch up on!

I was busy enjoying life - didn't even have the time to share that on my blog, neither words nor images! :-)

    1. @ Indrajit Mukherjee hey so gud to see you after such a long long time. Pls don't fret. You were on the right track my friend and do keep enjoying life. After all that is the essence or should be the essence of living. Yeah no pressures but at ur own pace and time. That u came here itself is enough. And just to let you know even i was away for a long long time. i have just picked up from last month. From September 2013 to last month see that was long too. So just take it easy but yes do stay put and if and when i am away don't give up on me. Life keeps me busy sometimes that i have to forget the compu keyboard and just do what priority list asks me to do. Wish i could say the same but yeah if shifting, settling down and before one could settle down a knee operation that confines you to bed for three months and as soon as you recover Father in Law falls seriously and is hospitalised for a month and then discharged only to be under surveillance for another four months...if that could also be (philosophically) enjoying life...then even i was...living and enjoying the swinging up and down we go ride...hahahaha. God Bless you Raja and hope u make me laugh soon with one of ur sweet but humorous posts. If not then some pics pls...as u can see i have also started taking my own pictures. See you soon. Thanks for this :)

  11. Those are so beautiful flowers .. and you are so right sometimes we love something so much that in all our admiration we just forget who made them, what their name is .. hence UNKNOWN :)

and what a beautiful poem to accompany the flowers ..

    1. Dear Bikram I had bought the plant when it was tiny from a nursery thinking that it will have some exotic flower of a different kind. Did not bother to ask for a name because I was so sure it was that which I had thought. But when it grew and started blooming this summer in this bad heat if Delhi...I was speechless. There were no words either to describe the beauty what to tell of it's name. Went back to the nursery where I had purchased it and they told me it was Jacobinia. Came home...Googled and saw...they had given me a wrong name. After that...I shall explain in my blog...I have the name now but I had to search and search. After Jacobinia...jacomansia...oh it was one exhaustive search...but my Eureka moment happened in the wee hours of the night. Will share it in my blog...more pictures and the name. Till then Unknown it is.
Thanks a ton for visiting and also for appreciating...the flower and the poem. :)
